The Earle opened its doors on December 13, 1977 as a Jazz Club, offering a light fare of sandwiches, soups, and omelettes. In 1979 it made the major transformation from the casual club atmosphere, to the now, very romantic, very intimate restaurant that features outstanding country cooking from the provinces of France and Italy and our award-winning wine list.
Located in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan, The Earle serves award-winning French and Italian country cuisine. Our wine list offers over 1,200 selections and has received the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence for 35 consecutive years.
Our dining room features live jazz five nights a week. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday a solo piano or solo guitar begins at 7 p.m.
Consistently recognized for our menu offerings, excellent service, award-winning wine list and romantic, intimate atmosphere, The Earle invites you to join us for an unforgettable evening of fine dining.
